This tour provides us with many interesting contrasts.
We proceed through the stark mountain terrain towards the quaint fishing village of Quriyat. From here, we proceed towards the scenic coast and visit the spectacular Bimah sinkhole, a limestone crater with blue-green water at the bottom. We drive through the pretty village of Wadi Tiwi, set among the date palms beside the mountain. Enroute spectacular photo stop at Wadi Shab.
Continue your journey towards Sur, an established center for trade with East Africa. Today the city has retained its reputation as a major Dhow building town.
Enjoy a visit to the Sur Dhow Factory. (Dhow factory is closed on Fridays).
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Stop at Fins beach before you drive back to Muscat.
Special Note-
The above rate is based on a Saloon car vehicle applicable for one pax. Supplement is applicable if there are more passengers. (Saloon car for maximum 3 pax and 4wd for maximum 4 pax)
Transfer from Muscat (One way) would take around 3.5 hrs by Saloon Car.
It is advisable to wear light comfortable clothing and walking shoes.
